Short version:Your data is used only to run the service — apply to jobs on your behalf. We don't sell it, don't train AI on your personal resume, and you can delete everything anytime.
1. What we collect
- •Account information: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you sign up.
- •Profile & resume data: work history, skills, education, and preferences you enter into ApplyFly.
- •Job application data: job postings you interact with and applications submitted on your behalf.
- •Usage data: pages visited, features used, and error logs — to improve the product.
2. How we use your data
- •To operate the service: matching jobs, tailoring resumes, generating cover letters, and submitting applications.
- •To improve ApplyFly: aggregate, anonymised analytics only. We never train AI models on your personal resume.
- •To communicate with you: account emails, subscription receipts, and support replies.
- •We do not sell your data. We do not share it with recruiters or employers outside the normal application flow.
3. Data storage & security
- •All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
- •We use industry-standard cloud infrastructure with regular security audits.
- •Resume files are stored securely and accessible only to you and the systems acting on your behalf.
4. Third-party services
- •Firebase / Google — Authentication and database hosting.
- •Razorpay — Payment processing. We never store your card details.
- •Groq — AI model inference for resume tailoring and cover letters. Requests do not include your email or identity.
5. Your rights
- •Access: request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- •Deletion: delete your account and all associated data from your dashboard settings at any time.
- •Correction: update any profile data directly in the app.
- •Export: download your resume and application history from your dashboard.
6. Cookies
- •We use essential cookies for authentication sessions.
- •No advertising or tracking cookies.
- •You can clear cookies at any time via your browser — this will log you out.
7. Changes to this policy
- •We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you by email for material changes.
- •Continued use of ApplyFly after changes means you accept the updated policy.
